PRACTICAL 4

🔨 What did we do?

After practical 3 and all those cardboard joineries skills learnt, we advanced into doing a game product for primary school kids!

At first, we struggled in thinking of a game product that fully utilize only cardboard but after countless hours of brainstorming and meetings, we decided to make a game consisting of 2 missile launches that use purely cardboard to function. The pellet is thrown into the magazine of the launcher from the top and it will be flicked out using a cardboard "flicker".

Sketches we did to guide us through making the game are shown below.

During the practical, we had around 2.5 hours to churn out our product and present it to the whole class. The progress kind of went like...

After all that, unfortunately, we forgot to take a picture of the product and yes... we cannot record it down here in our blog.

😩 What happened after the session?

Next, we forced Zhi Yao to bring back the product so that one day we can crash his house to paint the product and so we did :D

After around 3 hours of painting and procrastinating, we are finally done with it and this is the best picture we took for it.

Then we went back homes and started to edit the video and here it is!
